Just as students experienced a new way of learning during the pandemic, teachers faced a new way of teaching those students. Most school districts were not prepared for teaching virtually or hybrid for the long term, or even fully equipped to teach in the classroom while wearing masks and socially distancing.
School district staff and teachers learned along the way about what worked, what didn’t, and what changes needed to be made. As school districts apply for and receive monies through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSERS) Fund, Marco is working with school districts to ensure they are acquiring the technology that best addresses their needs.
Solutions For The Classroom
During our “Technology Solutions for Today’s Classroom” webinar, Marco IT Sales Director Jake Vande Hey led a panel discussion with a few of Marco’s vendors – Tim Beekman Jr. of Audio Enhancement, Jim Seng of Mitel and Tom Tyson of Newline – as well as guest Jeff Rerick, technology director at Mandan (North Dakota) Public Schools, which is a Marco customer. Our panelists offered insight on how technology is being used to support teachers and students in and outside the classroom.
As an IT provider Marco advocates for and works alongside our education customers. We partner with school districts to help them create successful, technology-enhanced learning environments that meet their individual needs, whether teaching in person, virtually or hybrid.
