50 Years of Excellence
In 1973, Marco opened its doors as a simple typewriter and office supply shop in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In just over 50 years, our US-based staff has grown to over 650 certified systems engineers and technical representatives, serving clients nationwide.
Marco History
1987
Three offices in St. Cloud are consolidated into a new corporate headquarters and retail store. Marco has 83 employees.
1997
Marco is repositioned as a technology company.
2008
Managed Print and IT Services are developed to provide customers with more effective ways to implement technology.
2012
St. Cloud Corporate headquarters moves to a new 77,000 sq. ft. office and distribution center. Marco has 21 offices in five states with 431 employees.
2021
Doug Albregts moves from President to CEO of Marco. Marco has locations in 12 states and over 1200 employees.
2023
Marco celebrates its 50th anniversary with offices in 15 states.

Gary Marsden & Dave Marquardt (The ‘Mar’ in Marco) set up shop in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Employee Wellness
Marco recently partnered with Nest Health Connections to create a customized wellness program for our staff. All Marco employees now have access to a variety of physical and mental health resources, including everything from online fitness classes and guided meditations to healthy recipes!
